However, we know that developer Firaxis has something cooking, and it is likely not XCOM 3. There has been no official announcement about Civilization 7 yet, and no credible leaks. It is also important to note that, very likely, we won't hear any news about the game until after the release of Marvel's Midnight Suns on 2nd December 2022. Since we don't know when will Civilization 7 (VII) come out officially, our guestimate is that the game won't release for a few years, likely sometime in 2024.
